Slow Living- ways to rest and restore

Why not take some time to slow down this September and recharge here with a stay. We thought we would list some of our favourite mindful activities to help you rest, reset and restore. 

  • Outdoor yoga on our beautiful yoga platform while the weather is still good. Reconnect with yourself, your mind, your body and nature.

  • Lighting the firepit and spending the evening outside making the most of our amazing big Suffolk skies with some stargazing. Marshmallows optional.

  • Eating outside on your sunny terrace with no distractions and just the sounds of the countryside around you.

  • Enjoy some screen-free time. We have no TVs (or WiFi) but we do have plenty of board games and a book swap in the honesty shop.

  • Walks in nature. Goes without saying, we all know the amazing benefits this has and we have so many beautiful walks around here, inland and coastal. 

  • Finally- foraging on our ten acre site for sloes, apples and blackberries. How satisfying to cook something that you have picked yourself. Ask us for more details and we can point you in the right direction.
