Genevieve Sweeney is writing a new chapter in the story of British knitwear – one that threads together the elegance of tradition with vibrant innovation. With each stitch, she crafts not just garments but stories – stories of resilience, heritage, and a journey – from each step of the design process to the carefully selected fibres and UK-based production methods.

Genevieve started her eponymous brand when she realised the destruction of heritage craft, local communities and livelihoods of makers across the UK due to the disappearance of the British Knitwear Industry. Genevieve is determined to rebuild and revitalise British knitwear by working with small family-run manufacturers, artisan knitters and manufacturing in her studio in Hertfordshire. Designing with sustainability at the core with the importance of provenance, only working with responsibility sourced, certified natural fibres and making garments that will be worn and cherished, passed down to the next generation.

Genevieve's knitwear emerges not just as clothing, but as chapters in a tale of craftsmanship, sustainability and the beauty of slow fashion.

We are really excited to announce that guests can now pre-order pairs of her beautiful walking socks. Simple put the ultimate, comfortable and most practicle sock.
