Outdoor Living
As much care has been taken curating the outdoor spaces as the indoor experience. Each Lodge has its own private terrace, with the amenities you need to encourage you to enjoy the sun and stars in Suffolk’s big skies. An outdoor fire pit, a personal BBQ, dining table & chairs, and even cosy blankets allow you to relax outdoors no matter the time of year.
Blyth Rise Lake
Situated at the origins of the River Blyth, which winds itself through the Suffolk countryside and joins the sea between Southwold and Walberswick, Blyth Rise Lake is home to a diverse range of wildlife, flora, and fauna.
Through the seasons, there is always something to enjoy. The daffodils, the grasses and wildflowers, the woodland anemones. Then there are the shrubs with their colored berries — berberis, pyracantha, and cotoneaster, along with the color-changing leaves of the raywood ash, the beech, and plentiful alders.
There is an ever-changing variety of wildlife on the lake, which can include the rare sighting of a great crested newt, the herons that are always hopeful of catching one of the giant carp, and families of ducks that return year after to breed.
On-Site Amenities
Hidden wooden saunas, evening BBQs, outdoor log fires… complete your stay with our beautifully handpicked amenities.
